Why Fewer Goals = Greater Success

If you've heard me speak on goal-setting, you know I strongly suggest that your personal productivity will improve by focusing on no more than 3-5 goals at a time. Here's further back-up from an Op-Ed in today's New York Times:

...it can be counterproductive to work toward multiple goals at the same time if your willpower cannot cover all the efforts that are required. Concentrating your effort on one or at most a few goals at a time increases the odds of success.
