If you use Word or Excel, you are using Microsoft Office programs. There are advantages to using the same software as the vast majority of users: it's uncomplicated to share files and easy to find another user when you have a question. Still, or maybe because of that virtual monopoly, there are flaws and drawbacks to using Microsoft products.
