Warren Buffett's Top Time Management Tip

Giving $31 billion to charity has put Warren Buffett at the top of the news for the past two days. In among the hubbub, I found one story on NPR particularly fascinating. In an interview, Carol Loomis, editor-at-large of Fortune magazine and long-time friend of Mr. Buffett, said "He's organized his life so he doesn't have to spend time with anyone he doesn't like." Now that's a man who knows how to value his time! If the second richest person in the US makes that his policy, why should you or I feel guilty for doing the same? If you'd like to read (or hear) the actual NPR interview, here's the link: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5512896

And, by the way, in the Berkshire Hathaway 2005 Annual Report he also states (on page 79) "We delegate almost to the point of abdication". Another time management jewel. Link to the full report http://www.berkshirehathaway.com/2005arn/2005ar.pdf
