My first job out of college was at the county hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. I remember one pharmacist vividly; he was so efficient that he could complete all his work in half the time of anyone else. And once his work was done, he had no problem putting his feet up (literally) until his shift was over. It would have been difficult for the rest of us to take, except for three things:
- He did complete all his work.
- His work was good, he didn't cut corners on quality.
- He was a nice guy, and willing to help others out if they fell behind.
